János Horváth: Wintery trees

The Vitalitas Furniture Gallery is a place imitating a flat, where the furniture, the lamps, the doors – so the most important furnishings – naturally suit the pieces of fine workmanship, masterworks. The supply is colourful: from Teréz Patona, Ferenc Brodszky’s creatures evolving from the folk traditions of Vas County to Mária Geszler’s feminine dramas shaped into ceramics, from the archaic-youthful pots of Kitti Gavajda to Sándor Molnár’s artistic abstraction; many objects can be seen. Wonderful cloths and coverlets made of natural materials, woven after folk tradition and modern textiles from Judit Gulyás and Gabriella Kovács are also found there.

From offer of Gallery

We can choose for the ladies very dear to us from the enamel necklaces and bracelets made by Sándor Pál, the glass-medallions or the glass-vases, clocks, goldsmith’s works made with special technique by Anna Vác. And the pictures! The exhibiting painters and graphic artists: Valéria Várnai, János Horváth, Ferenc Masszi, Péter Vértesi, János Kondor, András Bodorkós representing the very best of Vas county. For the admirers of the artistic photos we recommend the pictures of Kálmán Garas and Harald Gramberger.

But not only exhibitions, but also social gatherings take place at the Vitalitas Gallery, so children have been educated to folk crafts, but an occasional post or a radio musical competition have been held here so far. The most common event is the opening ceremony of the exhibitions, where beyond the friends and relatives of the introducing artist the most eminent representatives of the trade, the art world and the press appear. In the gallery you can buy not only the works of art of the actual exhibition, but also many others.
