Katalin Scheiber the designer

Katalin Scheiber is the head designer of the Vitalitas Savariae Bt. After graduating from the Department for Architecture of the Budapest Technical University she was working for a building company, while she was planning houses including their internal designing as a private contractor. Since 1996 her main activity is internal and furniture designing. In 2000 she founded the Vitalitas Savariae Bt. for piece furniture production, in 2001 evolved the Vitalitas Furniture Gallery, where today she takes up internal designing, trade and implementing. In 2001 she opened the Vitalitas Gallery, for running of it she founded the Vitalitas Savariae Art Found in 2002. In 2003 she planned, and then in 2004 she had build and designed the Vitalitas Health Centre.

Although she takes up with the internal designing of hotels, restaurants and shops, her main activity is to create the internal milieu of houses, surgeries, bureaus. When working she endeavours to create esthetical, practical, functionable spaces, which reflect the identity of her clients and realize their wishes.

As a mother of four she attaches importance to the integrating function in family life of home, the role in the development of children’s visual culture of an esthetical flat. She particularly deals with the connection of the flat and its furnishings as well as healthy lifestyle. Her main field of interest is to study the relationship of modern interior decoration and works of art.
